This is actually not Metalimnobia quadrimaculata, but most likely Metalimnobia quadrinotata. Compare the shape of parameres and wing pattern to the images on the Cataloque of the Craneflies of the World (CCW).

Actually, you can find these exact same images of male genitalia under Metalimnobia quadrinotata on CCW. Maybe there was just a mixup between names? It has happened to me, too... :)

I showed the images also to Dr. Jukka Salmela and he started to contemplate on the possibility of M. tenua. He said the genitalia images of tenua on CCW are not the best available, and that these two are very similar. But nevertheless it is at least not M. quadrimaculata. :)
