Hi

* locality - Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL
* date - 2007.05.05.
* size - 6 mm (medium fly)
* habitat - openland
* substrate - Taraxacum cf. officinale


Calliphorid fly?? What a strange fly... it looks a little like Amenia (concerning the burnt face), but it is clearly very different!

The unusual thing is the calypters.. they are huge!!! :S
