Panzeria puparum, if I'm not mistaken :) When was the specimen caught?

Hi Chris

Panzeria puparum is still not yet registrated in Norway.
I have got an answer from a norwegian dipterist it can be Bothria (subalpina).

The specimen were caught 25th Mars outside my cabin in SE Norway. Close to Sweden.

Ahhh, yes then I am very much mistaken :D You are correct - Botria (Bothria is now a synonym) it is ... another very hairy, early tachinid :)

Bothria subalpina seems correct to me.
It is very early, end March, in Norway !
