Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid??, C Spain --> Rhinophoridae, Phyto sp.

I found this fly in the mountains of Madrid on 14.08.2013. It reminds me more of a Rhinophorid than a Tachinid with those small calypters and general looks but I have no idea if any Rhinophorid exists with such small petiole. Whatever input will be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!! :)

Yes, they exists: most Phyto have such a petiolate.
And that is what is is, I think.
