Female Tipula, perhaps
truncorum/crassicornis or closely related.
Atracted by UV-light, but caught by a spiders web on my house, close to a mixed wood, clearing and a small stream, Ulricehamn, Sweden, June 16th. Altitude 300 m.
Wing 15 mm. Yellowish bands on several tergites, the first(?) one ver black. Bands on thorax (with a thin central stripe) not typical for truncorum, I beleive. Antennas quite short(?) with a little yellow on the second segment. Third segment looks guite long.
My own experiance is limitid (I have seen a couple of
truncorum at the same place,
crassicornis is probably extremely rare in Sweden) and material on the web for comparisation limited. Another species? Try to post 6 photos. Any help would be appreciated!
