Hi,
These small black Ephydrids have been frequently seen in the last weeks, sitting on the house walls. I found the description of Athyroglossa by Becker 1896, which fits well concerning the colouration of the tarsi, and arrived at A. glabra because of:
- thorax with many small hairs that are not in rows,
- scutellum flat, coarsely punctured,
- arista with four bristles.
Any objections? Thanks for comments, Sundew

Obviously no objections - fine!
