Asilidae_Neoitamus cothurnatus(female) is the correct name? Region Malá Fatra Terchová about 750 m altitude. Thank you very much for your help. I made a photo of 09.08.2012.

I would think N. cf socius. N. cothurnata has a larger facial gibbosity and one more segment of the abdomen"dusted"
It is very difficult to seperate N. socius and N. cyanurus from eachother based on pictures.
