Found sitting on fern in pine woodland in the mountains of Madrid on Spetember the 2nd 2012.

I know it cannot be M. corrigiolata or lateralis. There are two more species in Spain: grallatrix and hispanica. Unfortunately I don't have any information about the last two species. Can anybody help? Thanks!! :)

Based on the keys I'd say Micropeza lateralis.

Sorry Paul, I shouldn't write in forums when I should be sleeping :S :D :D It was a typographycal error. I wanted to write 'PALE tibiae'. But I don't know if I am right about this statement.

I cannot see those two orangy color lines in the prescutellar area in any picture of lateralis or corrigiolata. They might not be distinctive though. But they are present in every specimen of Micropeza I have ever found. I guess I always see the same species, only that I don't know which one it is ;)
