I originally thought these might be Rhinophoridae but I have not been able to find anything in the gallery or forums that matches them.

This, I think, was the female after the male flew off.

They're one of the smaller Sarcophagidae (perhaps
Sarcophaga (
Discachaeta)
pumila) :)
Note: the lack of median discals and the elongate R5 wing cell - plus reddish eyes.
