I first posted this a long time ago as you see but I didn't get an answer - I've caught another one so I'm running it again.

Antennae yellow (black on top of 3rd segment; arista pubescent; face , jowl and frons all brownish yellow; pair of frontal bristles just below ocellar triangle reclinate and bending outwards, front coxae yellow, front femur black with yellow base, middle femur yellow with black apical third, hind femur yellow with black apical quarter, humerals and posterior corners brownish yellow, rest of dorsal surface glossy black, no thoracic bristles except in posterior corners; scutellar apicals converging; no dorsal pre-apicals; vibrissi present (broken off).
UK 13/5/11.
Help please.
P.S.
I really think this is Piophilidae now and if so, the key tells me it should be either Allopiophila luteata or Parapiophila vulgaris. In the gallery it looks a lot like Allopiophila, bit I can't find a recognisable picture of Parapiophila anywhere. The distinction is in the relative slope of the frons, which seems a slight difference when you are not familiar with either.
