Eutrichota longimana is unlikely based on range. It lives in northern Canada. In the United States Griffiths found only isolated populations on mountains of the Pacific states.

Within Griffith's praepotens section (enlarged female fore tarsi) two superspecies with can be ruled out by the lack of hairs, e.g. hypopleuron not setulose. If the arista is plumose (I can't tell) E. praepotens superspecies. Otherwise, several species could occur in Indiana.

Edit: But check if the discal pair of setae on the scutellum is more than half as large as the marginal pairs, because if it is I misinterpreted the lateral shot and you have the humeralis superspecies.
