I think this distinctive fly has to be O. flavissima, but can anyone confirm my ID? It was very hard to get close to this very wary fly, so image quality is so-so, but hope it's good enough for ID confirmation.
31.5.11 c 8mm Lesbos, Greece, feeding on mint flowers in an olive grove.
