I'm sure of green color of this new one, had some troubles to bring it out of nef format.

Damn, it is green here http://www.dipter...oto_id=924 too...
And at other images in diptera gallery green parts are yellow. Can someone confirm that this is real thing -
yellow green variability ? Not just photo artifact, I mean, I took the upper photo with flash and green seen with naked eye came out yellow on .nef.

This is female Nephrotoma quadrifaria.
This species is very green indeed... What did you drink?

It was green as you see it. Otherwise I would probably not extra bother to go and get camera to take shoot of it.
