Dilophus sp. is the correct name? Thank you very much.
Slovak Republik, Terchová region on the Malá Fatra 01.10.2010.

Bibio. The strong tibial spurs are distinctive. The female uses them to dig a hole to lay eggs in. On the male they are useless as far as I know.

This is one of two European species that fly late in the year and have swollen hind tarsi in the male -- B. clavipes and B. lepidus.
