I donīt think this is in the Central European key... Need to check my Mesnil (in Lindner). That is if my guess for the genus is right!

I have explained before that I am not going to ID Tachinids from pictures from East Turkey, because this fauna is far outside my comfort zone.
I'd need the specimens to say more.

Yes, the problem is two-fold, as I see it. Not only are there a lot more species that are not in the usual European keys but the area is
very likely to have species that are undescribed and new to science.
Without specimens we can suggest a genus and perhaps guess at a species but really the region deserves studying properly, with specimens to do it justice ... it could have some really interesting discoveries there waiting to be found :)
