I see the wings very similar, but not the body.
Photographed today March 5, 2011 in the wetland Suárez Pond, in Motril, Granada, Spain.

Thanks jorgemotalmeida.
I had never been to look at the Gallery Platystomatidae family.
Now I come with the identification that tells me I have seen of yours that I find it very similar.

Could it be the same?
Thank you very much and best regards

Yours has more dark along the front edge of the wing than the one in the gallery. Look beyond the last transverse band. I don't know whether that is a species character or intraspecific variation. The Rivellia in my area (America) have constant wing pattern.

Thanks John
I have no skills or knowledge to accurately interpret those details.
I hope that you, the experts if you may know interpret those details.

Greetings

Rivellia hispanica Lyneborg, 1969. That species was described from Granada: Rio Guadalfeo, Orgiva. I believe, this is the second find of this species since description 42 years ago.

Please submit it to the gallery.

Oh! Oh! Oh ... I am very happy.:D ;) :D
I'm just an amateur photographer in general and I am very happy that the accident put a discovery like this within my camera.
My thanks to you experts, who have made possible the identification of dipterous.
The next time you visit the wetland, I will be careful to try to capture a specimen and put at your disposal.
Very grateful to you,

I have already sent to the gallery. Sorry for my delay. I had an incident with lmáquina home washing clothes and I had to waste time on repairs. Sorry.:|

I reiterate my gratitude.
