Photographed in Reading, UK, beside a lake.
The antennae are actually white, but this does not show up well against the white background.

Yes it is a female
Lonchaea of even
Setisquamalonchaea. The antennae will not actually be white but are probably covered in a white or silvery dusting which at certain angles and lighting conditions will make them appear white ........ Iain
