Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Rather big Muscidae (?) (May-18, 2010) --> Fannia lustrator (Fanniidae)

Hello!

This male from the forest border yesterday morning (at 9-11 °C, northwest Germany) resembled Fannia lustrator (Fanniidae) in colouration and habitus. But it was at least 9-10 mm large! What else could it be? Mydaea urbana? (Too slender?) There were several of them, all this size.
