Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscida - Hebecnema sp?

Several of these about today. Hebecnema sp? Maybe H. vespertina ?? Maybe an expert can say if I'm anywhere close?

Hebecnema seems correct, but not H. vespertina, the eyes seem distinctly hairy. I think the halters are fuscous, so H. nigra would be my guess.

Many thanks again, Stephane. Seems I got close at least, and am slowly learning more about Muscidae. Lots of them about for the last few days.
