Hi, these were in great numbers under dead wood. They are still alive in a box with some wood material. 10 mm.

Posterior spiracles seem to be with 3 openings - then it is Dilophus febrilis Loew.

Bibio has two spiracular openings and long transversely arranged body processes while Dilophus has three openings and shorter processes. Bibionidae larvae are unique in having a holopneustic respiratory system having 10 lateral pairs of stigmatal openings (including the larger opening seen on your photograph).
