Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chironomidae, greenish, 9-10 mm (20.04.09)

Hello!

This Chironomidae female (on garden chair, northwest Germany) was a bigger one in its family. Could it bee genus Chironomus?

There is a good chance that it is Chironomus, but Chironomini is safer.

Thanks, Gabor! I had never seen such a greenisch Chironomus, yet.
