Sorry, but picture 2 is Bibio femoralis, not B. johannis. Notice the pear-shaped first tarsomere of hind leg, which is characteristic for thisd species. The black tip of hind tibia, and black tips of first and second tarsomeres of hind legs are also generally present in femoralis. I am not sure that picture 1 is the same species, but it might be.
