Hi Susan!
1. Ch.megacephala recorded in Spain, but even in North Africa it is uncommon. It becomes common in Oriental. And Ch.megacephala males have enlarged facets in upper part of eyes.
2. Ch.albiceps is common even in Russia on Black Sea shore. On the other hand even in Turkey, if you collect outside sae beach, for example, in forest, Chrysomya is replaced by Lucilia. So, if Marek found Chrysomia in Poland, I bet it was Baltic Sea beach :o
