Southern Norway, garden, 8th of August. Probably around 12+mm long I think.

Eristalis pertinax. The cone-shaped abdomen is quite characteristic.

Ahh... I just tought the abdomen seemed longer than I have previousely seen... Thanx for clearing that for me Paul!

And the tarsae of the front legs are yellow. And your estimation of the size could fit quite well ;)
