Hi,
Today I saw a quite colourful Tachina that, according to black legs and dark mark broadening towards the abdominal tip should be T. magnicornis. However, it has a black scutellum and very bristly legs. Is this within the limits of variation, or does it point to a subspecies or even a related species (I don't know any, however)?
