One very curious thing: In this holiday day, 1st May, I was thinking at the morning about: "why Trichopoda pennipes don't appear here?", and incredibly at 3.30 pm I spotted this fly... At 1,5 m distance... I spotted the fly and recognized it immediately.. how the heck? :| It was really a Trichopoda pennipes. Almost I screamed. :D
Really I suspected that T. pennipes was around because I spotted in the local several Nezara viridula (Hemiptera).
