Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Fly 6 mm, orange abdomen (Heleomyzidae?)

One of the early flys in my garden in Brussels this year (together with Asteia amoena. It is about 6 mm long.

Is an ID possible?

Hi, post your images, or at least make a clickable link by using the url tags.

The fly is a Heleomyzid, a Tephroclamys if I am not mistaken. Change the title to Heleomyzidae to attract the Andrzej.

all belong to Heteromyza sp.
