Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Pinneberg-Waldenau near Hamburg, between a housing estate and an edge in the mixed forest Klövensteen, nearby a little pond for fishing, at the wooden railing of a footbridge (beneath birchtrees, pinetrees and oaks), length of the fly: 6 mm (s. 4th picture); 17th of April 2024; photos: kuv.
Checking the Diptera Gallery and the threads in this forum I think it could be C. stercoraria. Is this ID ok? Please help for ID.
Greetings Kuv

More likely Copromyza nigrina but difficult to tell from these.
