Hello together,
I found this insect two days ago on a wall of our house (Freckenhorst, NRW).
It had about 5mm.
Can it be identified?

not Diptera, so better post it in "Other insects, spiders etc.".

Hallo Christine, if you have more photos, we could be more sure - but I think you are right with
Gelis (Ichneumonidae - Cryptinae), and it could be one of the
G. melanocephalus group.
