Hi All,
I pictured this specimen in my garden on 2023-04-27. I could measure the specimen on the pictures : 7,9mm

I found some species that could match including Hydrophora lancifer(which is an Agromyiidae ! bue with those setae on the tergites, it must be a Tachinidae, so I think this is Macquartia grisea (Fallén, 1810).

Can someone confirm or correct this ID ???

Thank you John for correcting me !!!!

Thank you very much !

By the way, is this a female or a male ???

Family Tachinidae. No Anthomyiidae has a curved tip to vein M or such strong abdominal bristles.
