I didn't realize the fly was there. In fact I was taken pictures of the plant it was on, a Calotropis procera.

Luxor (Egypt). January 31th, 2022.

That is a Dacus or at least Dacinae in Tephritidae. So change the title and wait for expert help.

I've found that Calotropis procera is a host plant from Dacus longistylus, so maybe is this species. Any suggestion will be welcomed.
