Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chinese Nematoceran ??

Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, China. March the 8th 2012, near the garbage. The first flies I have seen thius year. The nematoceran, if that is what it is is in my next post.

Cecidomyiidae, Lestremiinae? (Based on wing venation, antennal structure and lack of tibial spurs)

Thanks Tony. Its a pity it was on a gray wall and not a nice flower. Ah well, at least some flies are out and about now.

Probably Campylomyzini (following Jaschhof's classification; Micromyini under the traditional classification).
