Are you sure it's not merdaria? A close look at the antennae helps.

The base of the arista seems to be darkened, hence fimetaria.

It LOOKS dark to me too... but since the pic is a little vage there, I wanted to be carefull.. that's all. Frown

Hard to say. But a very nice picture Ben, capturing the odd soft, waxy appearance of Psila. A good angle for the vertexand scutellar chaetae too.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
