Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Schenefeld near Hamburg, earthwall (overgrown with small bushes like hazel, maple, roses, sloes, brambles) under big old oaks, found at a leaf of brambles; Outsidephotos: kuv, 26th of June 2016. I can't find it in the Gallery - no idea. Please help to get the ID.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
