Hi Koenraad you are actually in Bishkek now ? Still going to hike ? I reviewed the Tachinidae of Kyrgyzstan some years ago, see Tachinid Times (available online). Anyway, this is a Nowickia or a Cnephaotachina, which might be Nowickia as well. Can tell you more if you collect the stuff ! theo |

Hi Theo, I was in Bishkek one month ago - this one I saw the last day of our Kyrgyzstan trip. I mostly photographed butterflies, but could not resist to take a picture of this one, because he was sitting on my finger. So I didn't collect any insects.
