It shows nicely the classic ' big head', so fulvus indeed.
You'd expect loewianus, though, at Madrid ?
What was the altitude ?

The photo was taken at 1165 meters above sea level.

So, that is more or less an explanation.
Fulvus is present at higher altitudes in Spain, loewianus more a lower altitude species. But don't take this to strictly !

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
