Found yesterday in dry habitat, mid Netherlands. Anthomyiidae ?

Leucophora? The common species fly in spring.

Looking at the weather we have here, it is autumn already...so I think only the Leucophora larvae are left, dreaming about spring.

It keys out to Delia albula, but I have some doubt.
Just keep it again for me.

I collected Delia albula this week, I think this is one is not D. albula. Please post the result here, I'm curious for this one Smile

Prealar seems absent, but I can't see if there is an av seta present or not on t2.
It has a similarity with D. albula but this species don't have such dark vitta in female, and I even don't rule out Botanophila... so I think I have to see this species in hand.
I'll let you know the result.
(or Ackland must recognize this species.....)

And Leucophora also seems to fly in august to…..so John was right and it turned out to be Leucophora grisella.
