 Hi there,

in a previous post, I requested determination of this specimen:
http://observatio.../121453984

Now, with a second Villa spec. (I suppose) from a different location in Austria I wondered

- if it is possible to determine a Villa-fly just by photo
- as there are 8 species annotated for Austria, if some of the following can at least be excluded:

V. cingulata
V. fasciata
V. hottentotta
V. halteralis
V. ixion
V. modesta
V. occultis
V. paniscus

 Species shown on all of your pictures should be Villa halteralis.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
