Slovenia, Grosuplje, 400m, 29.6.2016 Can somebody tell if this is Metopia argyrocephala or is it M. rondaniana? I know Theo said something about the curly hairs on a fore tarsus but I still don't know how to deal with it npisec attached the following image: [162.34Kb] Edited by npisec on 30-06-2016 17:10 |

Because there are no curly hairs here.. Moreover, the very strong contrast between white and dark on the vertex also implies argyrocephala. To assess this, you need to have a lot of experience, it is tricky. In any case: male M. argyrocephala. Theo |
