Hi, I'm new on here so I hope you'll be kind to me. I do lots of moth traps in SW France on the Gironde Estuary & sometimes find other interesting insects there too. This is a male mosquito which another forum has suggested may be Ochlerotatus caspius but there are few other photos of males & I don't know what the criteria is! Can anyone help?

Ochlerotatus caspius/dorsalis - rather intermediate in thoracic markings, so I don't want to say which. ![]() Tony ---------- Tony Irwin |
