Found in decidous forest in Asturias, N Spain on 30.VIII.2015. Is it Hydrophoria or Hylemya?? I believe it is Hydrophoria. As far as I know, no male Hylemya with pale femora is found in Spain. Confirmation, please? Any chance of getting the species? Any possibilities? Thanks in advance!!

I think it looks like Hylemya. If you have a lateral shot, look for discal bristles on tergites 4 and 5. Most other Anthomyiidae do not have them. |
