From what I can tell from Rozkosny's publication, the markings on the second and third tergites are not connected along the lateral margin in cephalonica but slightly more towards the middle of the tergite, making it such that the yellow markings enclose a black marking on the lateral margin. Also, cephalonica has small black spines on the scutellum and the specimen above has larger yellow spines.
