Hi, I photographed this fly on Typha latifolia in a small pond in Leicestershire, England. It looks a good match for Psacadina verbekei but I don't know how similar that is to others in the genus or whether there are any other lookalikes. Confirmation or corrections appreciated. Photo examined by Ian McLean of the UK Sciomyzidae Recording Scheme. He stated that this is a female fly in the genus Psacadina but cannot be done to species from a photograph.
