 oct. 3rd, 2015, northern upper rhine rift, Southwest Germany, 10mm, appearing shiny dark blue and quite large in field

Dear Forum,

rarely seen in my garden and not photographed properly there so far, at least till yesterday. Resting near ivy blossoms for just a moment, so only two views available.
Could this be Protophormia terraenovae?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
