I found this tachinid fly from near forest region. Please help me to find out this fly.

but its scutellum is black not yellowish. Is this aplomyia confinis

No, it is not. I have no idea which species you have and for that matter, anything you find could also be new to science.

In some old literature I found that genus Aplomya and Phryxe are closely related with each other...Is it right? Cool
