on 2015-06-26 I found these flies on faeces near Darmstadt, Hesse,.Is it a Ulidiidae? Regards, Ingo

Euxesta notata male. Watch out for pechumani which has a slightly longer basal crossband (reaching R4+5 instead of R2+3). |

By far, no notata have been recorded in Europe, and all the early records of that species (Bezzi, 1918; Hennig, 1940) actually belong to misidentified E. pechumani Curran 1934
