 Is this strange cranefly a Tipula species? I guess it is a very young individual; the abdomen looks almost like a larva in both appearance as well as in the way it moved when I hold the cranefly.

 From the genitalia I'd say it is Tipula fascipennis.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
