This fly I found on 05.06.2015 in a meadow near Amtsberg, Saxony, Germany.

 Classic mistake.
It should have been " Tabanidae ?"
It is the male of Coenomyia ferruginea (Coenomyiidae).

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
