Found on 25.03. this year. Isn't it very early for Simuliidae ? A big species, is ID possible with this photo ?

One of the ornamented Simulium, a category including the majority of the European species. The markings may be distinctive for a species group.

Some species fly early in the year.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
