Hi, here is an other interesting family, with no good key at the moment. This large specimen is nearly twice as large as our Bibios here in Finland and with nice dark costa. You don't have marci in Finland ? This looks like marci (-complex) as well. Theo |

Yes Theo, we do have marci. The size of this specimen is confusing me. It so big. And as Fauna Europaea says, that there are only two Bibio in Romania, brunnipes and macer ...I'm not sure. |
